Finding the necessary living arrangements in a foreign country can be a daunting task. At Qortoba Institute, we strive to provide an accommodation service that is luxury and complements your living and studying in Egypt.
Please read the following:
If you want Qortoba Institute to find a place for you, you have the following options:
1) We will find you an apartment prior to your arrival in Egypt, after showing you the photos and video. You will go straight from the airport to your flat.
2) If you want to choose your own apartment upon your arrival in Egypt from a group of flats that Qortoba Institute has selected, then we advise you to stay in a hotel for 2 or 3 days until you have chosen a suitable apartment.
Below are some estimated rental costs for a 2 or 3 bedroom, fully furnished apartment in the vicinity of QIAS in:
Winter season or annual contract (per month):
GBP 371 – 446= USD 500 – 600 (without air-conditioning)
GBP446 – 520 = USD 600 – 700 (with air-conditioning)
Summer season (June, July, August, and September) (per month):
GBP 446 – 483= USD 600 – 650 (without air-conditioning)
GBP 446- 668= USD 600 – 900 (with air-conditioning)
Note: It is possible for students to share a flat and split the rental cost. Also, while the above estimates reflect current rent prices in the summer and winter, prices can still fluctuate. Qortoba will try the best to inform you of any major changes.
If you stay in a flat for a short period of time (i.e. less than 3 months) then landlords are likely to increase the rent of the flat 15% to 20%.
It is the norm here in Egypt for landlords to ask for one month’s rent as a deposit for the flat. This will be returned to you at the end of the contract if there is no damage in apartment contents and appliances.
Please note when QIAS finds you a flat you will be required to pay QIAS a 20% of one month’s rent as commission(just once).
