A person struggles with obedience until he becomes accustomed to it and loves it

Ibn al-Qayyim said: ‘A person struggles with obedience until he becomes accustomed to it and loves it.

Allah appoints angels for him that drive him intensely to obedience, they wake him from his sleep for it … and from his gatherings they drive him to it.

Allah, the Most Sublime says: “Those who strive in our way we will guide them to our paths” ‘
